Spent her childhood in Duesseldorf. She moved to Israel with her family
in the 80's, where she started a TV career with her sister
Dana. After the TV acting jobs she got more and more involved
with producing and directing theater events and concerts.
She absolved her military duty at the army's PR department.
Then she worked for Multi Media Inc and Isaac Productions,
for whom she produced the performances of the English Royal
Ballet, the Vienna Opera Ballet and the Bands Garbage and
K's Choice on their Israel tours. She
also worked for the World Music Festival in Tel Aviv, was
executive producer for theater productions, among them -The
Child who Created the World- by Roi Zohar / Yael Charonsky,
which was invited to the Haifa Childrens' Theater Festival.
In 1999 Ronit moved to New York , where
she received her MFA in directing from the Actor's
Studio Drama School ,
New York . Ronit has directed and worked for several
Off and Off-Off Broadway theaters as assistant director,
stage manager etc, among them Jeremy Dobrish, Israela Magalit,
Joan Vail Thorn, WPP and Handglove Company, Creative Theater
Space. She joined post theater in 2001 when she produced '301/302'
in Stuttgart and Berlin, in 2003 she directed and co-wrote
post theater's "matchmaker matchmaker". Her work
was last featured during the Actor's Studio Reperatory season
where she directed 6 plays, among them Heiner Muller's "Quartet",
and Eduardo Machado's "Fabiola". |
